When hydrogen is supplied, the 1200 W fuel cell system delivers uncontrolled DC voltage. The fans, pumps, valves, control and monitoring electronics are integrated components of the Nexa® Power Module. The included software, the starter kit and the documentation in English make the system a complete test and integration platform.

 

The software provides you with more than 20 relevant data items on the operating behavior of the fuel cell system and offers the option of data recording. The integrated EEPROM stores information on the running time and operating cycles, and also contains a fault recorder.

 

The starter kit includes additional components to facilitate start-up of the system: hydrogen supply line, lab basin, load relay, interface converter (RS485-RS232) and connecting cables.

 

The documentation provides an introduction to the subjects of hydrogen generation, hydrogen storage, hydrogen safety and, of course, fuel cell technology.

The Integration Accesories


DC Converter with Load Regulator

With the DC converter that was especially developed for the Nexa® Power Module and the included battery set, a fuel cell hybrid system can be set up very quickly.

 

The DC converter converts the unregulated voltage of the fuel cell into a regulated rated voltage of 24 V.

 

The batteries can easily be charged via the integrated charging function of the DC converter. The included software provides information on the battery charging cycles and allows adjustment of battery charging parameters for specific applications.

 

The DC converter and the Nexa® Power Module can be switched on and off via an external control and communication panel, which also displays operating parameters for both components. The fuel cell system starts the automatic charging function for recharging the batteries when the charge drops below a configurable voltage level.

NEW 2008 - Drive Set

The drive set allows you to expand the fuel cell hybrid system, consisting of the Nexa® Power Module and the DC converter, into a fuel cell drive system. The drive set consists of a robust motor controller with pulse width modulation, an efficient, low-maintenance DC disk rotor motor, an accelerator pedal and a reversing contactor, in addition to the required electrical connections.

 

The components are optimized so that they can easily be assembled to form an integrated drive system.
