Heliocentris launches new Systems & Solutions department
Berlin. Heliocentris, a leading company in the distribution of fuel cell and hydrogen technology to education, scientific and demonstration markets is launching its new Systems & Solutions department. The aim is to develop as a systems integrator with its partners industrial solutions based on fuel cell technology. Heliocentris can build on its extensive systems integration experience in its current core business of educational and science systems. Since its establishment in 1995 Heliocentris has to date sold more than 35,000 fuel cells making it one of the few companies worldwide with experience in serial production of fuel cell systems.
Recently Heliocentris has expanded its network of partners to include Hydrogenics and Angstrom Power in addition to Ballard Power Systems. This combined with intensified R&D activity is the basis for the market launch of the Systems & Solutions department. The component and project business in combination with systems integration services, targeted towards among others industrial clients, shall generate sales already in the current financial year. On the medium term Heliocentris wants to build a scalable business based on platform technology. The development of the required systems platforms is already on its way and is supported with government grants.
