Oliver Borrmann is the founder and CEO of bmp Aktiengesellschaft, Berlin. He developed bmp into an internationally active company in the Private Equity sector which focused on the business areas of Venture Capital and Funds Management. bmp AG has been listed in the official market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 1999 and has been quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since December 2004. Before his employment as CEO of bmp AG, Oliver Borrmann was Managing Partner of bmp Management Consultants GmbH for 5 years. Previously he was employed as a consultant at HBS Consulting Partners GmbH, Munich and at JFM Marketing Services GmbH, Berlin. Oliver Borrmann obtained a doctorate in economics with the focus on bank management at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). Oliver Bormann performs other business management functions within the bmp Group – he is also a member of various supervisory boards.

Thomas Philippiak has been a member of the executive committee of IHK Heilbronn-Franken since July 2001 and has been president of IHK since January 1st, 2006. Since 1993, the 65 year old jurist has been managing partner of ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KG which, with more than 2,500 employees and exports of more than 70%, is the second largest industrial employer after AUDI in the Heilbronn-Franken region. Previously, he was Commercial Manager of the company Ziehl-Abegg GmbH & Co. KG (now called Ziehl-Abegg AG). More than 9,800 ebm-papst employees at a total of 17 production and 57 sales locations around the world achieve a turnover of more than one thousand million Euros with engines, fans and control units. Thomas Philippiak performs business management and supervisory functions in several subsidiary companies. He also performs various other supervisory board and advisory board functions. As well as his professional activity, Philippiak is also involved in many voluntary activities. Acting in place of the IHK plenum for the first time in 1995, Philippiak among other things is also a member of the dual senate of the Mosbach University of Cooperative Education, chairman of the Pro BA Mosbach foundation and CEO of Innovationsregion Kocher & Jagst e.V.

Michael Stammler was born in Dossenheim in 1955. He graduated in engineering (at a university of cooperative education) and in business (Diplom-Kaufmann). His first professional stages include Brown, Boveri & Cie. in Mannheim (accompanying his studies). Furthermore he worked as a startup engineer at Siemens AG in Karlsruhe and as a corporate consultant at Roland Berger & Partner in Munich. Since 1991 he has worked for the Feri Group in different positions. He started as managing associate of Feri Trust GmbH, today Feri Wealth Management GmbH, and in addition he accepted an executive position of the Feri GmbH in 2000. After Feri GmbH's transformation into a joint stock company (AG) in 2002 he worked as a director for Feri Finance AG. He is the chairman of Feri Finance AG since 2006.

Jean-Marie Solvay was born in La Hulpe, Belgium in 1956. After having graduated from the Lycée Français de Belgique (Bachelor of Science) and the Zurich Polytechnic Institute (ETH) in chemical engineering, he worked as a commercial pilot and instructor of helicopters and airplanes.
His first professional stages include founding and being CEO of the Helitradewinds Inc., Portland Or., USA and Winco Helicopters Inc., Portland Or., USA. As CFO of the Iridian Technologies S.A., Preverenges in Switzerland, he was also responsible for the Business Development, Marketing and Sales of the iris recognition technology to the EMEA markets from 2000 to 2001.
Furthermore he is CEO of the Albrecht RE Immobilien GmbH & Co KG since 2003 and the Teimmo company in Berlin, Germany since 2002, managing real estate development. Jean-Marie Solvay also serves as an independent member of the board of Solvay S.A. since June 3, 1991 and as a board member of the International Institutes for Physics and Chemistry, founded by Ernest Solvay. He is member of the New Business Board Solvay S.A. since June 1, 2004 in the steering committees of Green Chemistry platforms for organic electronics.

Oliver Krautscheid was born 1968 in Bonn, Germany. He studied Business Administration at the University of Köln. He has worked for leading international consulting and auditing companies - Arthur Andersen (Köln), McKinsey&Co. (Düsseldorf) as well as KPMG (Köln, London and Frankfurt) last as a Partner in the field of Transaction Services. During this time he was advising companies in the DAX, Private Equity Funds as well as Banks with regard to equity participations in companies.
Since 2004 he has been an investment advisor for equity participations in companies for large family offices. Mr. Krautscheid has over 10 years of experience as Chairman of the Board of various companies. Currently he is a General Manager of a family holding, which he co-founded. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board with EPG Engineered nanoProducts Germany AG, Griesheim – listed in the Entry Standard and President of the Board with Corporate Equity Partners AG, Zug – listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

John Butt is Chief Executive and General Partner of Conduit Ventures Ltd, a UK based venture capital fund with investments in Europe, North America, and Asia, specializing in high efficiency energy storage, generation and supporting low carbon technologies. Prior to Conduit, John held senior positions with Citigroup Global Markets and Price Waterhouse LLP in Europe, North America and the Emerging Markets, working with large and small companies, entrepreneurs, governments and multilateral funding institutions. He started his career with the Bank of England, London and holds degrees in Biochemistry from the University of St. Andrews Scotland and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.
